What is the flow rate of the injectors on the 97 T100 3.4 engine? I am thinking it is 240 cc's if I read things right. Would it be of any benefit to got to a higher rate flow injector (if some are available)? If ours are the old two hole would it help anything to upgrade to the newer four hole design? As you can see I know nothing about injectors.

The only reason to go to a bigger pound injector is:

    -cam, heads, manifold, been upgraded

    -NOS

    -Supercharged/turbo.

What are you trying to do?

Was just wondering if anything like that would help. As I have a stock setup I guess it won't be of any benefit to me. Thanks for the info.

So you were just attempting to get a little more juice then?

Even with stock injectors, you can tune for longer duration, but that is a whole different topic all together.

I was wondering if it would give a tiny bit of umph or a small increase in mpg. I don't believe I'll be messing with the tuning (or having anyone else either).

I had one of the early 3.4L S/C Tacomas with Gadgets setup. Bigger injectors won't offer you anything without some mechanism for pumping more air into the cylinders as well. Actually, bigger injectors without air mods is going to make it run too fat.
