In for this thread info. I'm leaning this direction:

    http://grillagrills.com

    The silverbac.

Seem to be heavy-duty. Priced right. Michigan designed. Anyone have any thoughts about grilla?

Any opinions on the Camp Chef? YouTube deems it on per or slightly a better bargain than the Traeger.

Bottom line OP is invest in what you can afford and what would work best for you given how often your going to use or not use it. Naturally you will get hundreds of different opinions. And prices from $400-10,000.

I have a Traeger LiL Texas Elite..($699.00) it has worked flawless since day one cooking on it at least weekly for the last two years, and I would repair or replace this one if I need be, I like it that much. I have had excellent customer service with Traeger with a few questions I had when we first purchased ours.
Your choices are only limited buy your $$$ my Traeger-

A little history snap shot on Traeger..FWIW..

Only downside I see to a pellet smoker is that you need power, other than that they look to be set it and forget it.

Update on my yodel. Absolutely loved it. Have smoked a few shoulders. Probably a dozen racks of ribs. Bacon, chicken, etc. even thrown a few steaks on to seer after having them in a sous vide

What did you end up getting, I'm in the market for a pellet smoker and I'm leaning towards the Yoder 640. I currently have the Apollo 300 (very similar to the WSM) and it's served me well but I have the pellet bug

I haven't purchased one yet. Been slacking.

However, @csuviper purchased a Tregar and looks like a good way to go.

The Traeger really is an easy way to smoke and grill with great results.

Been looking as well. Camp Chef has an ash trap door that makes it super easy for cleanup. Seems to be made the same as Traeger. The Cabellas brand is the same as Camp Chef but has a glass window for viewing.
