Installed my seat heaters. Surprisingly the tear down of the dash wasn’t horrible. Huge shout out to @1lowlife for the help with the wiring!

Temps here in WI dipped and I think this will be my next mod. I've had it queued up in Amazon for a while, where did you purchase from?

Thanks! I used this kit from eBay. I was on the fence about these switches as there’s so many options but glad I did. Last night after install I went for a beer run and the blue illumination matches the factory.

No. The flare stick out past the wheels. Actually the stock wheels don’t even stick out past the side of the fenders without flare as you can see with this level up against the truck. If you measure off the top of the fenders.

Fender flare bolts ready to get sandblasted and cerakoted black. Going to look so much better on my magnetic grey truck. I bought a set of stainless nickel plated button head fender flare bolts off eBay awhile back to replace the original flare bolts but they are slightly bigger and would require drilling out to enlarge the holes in the flares. They also are more nickel colored than black. If anyone wants them I’ll sell them for what I bought them for. Also getting my receiver hitch and ball done. It’s really awesome having someone that does cerakote and powder coating close by the house.

Got a full detail yesterday. Nicest the truck has looked even the day I took it off the lot. They did a great job. Sorry it's balls cold and I wasn't going to drive it somewhere to get beauty shots.

    That's awesome.
I wish I would have considered that location for my seat heater switches.
But as you found you literally have to take the ENTIRE dash apart to get that piece out.
I replaced that part when an audio installer scratched it, they paid for the part and I didn't trust them to replace it.
Looking back I wish I would have replaced it with the black SR piece.

BTW, I'm stealing your dash apart pic.
I didn't take one and I wanted one.
Actually, I'm stealing all the pics in case someone starts a thread on aftermarket seat heater switch locations..

Those buttons and where you put them really does look stock.
I didn't help you that much, I just confirmed what you already knew..:D

    Glad you got it done..

I was about to paint it black but I do like the back and grey contrast. I do plan on painting the headliner and pillar trims black. And I’m also glad I chose to wire the illumination. Really like how everything turned out. Got tired of the wife saying her 18 Tucson had seat warmers and mine didn’t. Jokes one her now lol. You were very helpful with all the tips and videos you sent. Thanks again. P.S not sure how my driver side carpet so dirty if I have weathertechs. Looks like a carpet extraction coming in the spring time
