What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Hope all is well @Tundra234 . I still check out the forum daily. I see you are busy with your PPF and SIM painting!!! Your truck is looking great.

 

Tire carrier and softopper installed yesterday, patiently waiting for the rack.

 

LOL. I was doing the decal thing for a bit (I need to get back on it lol). Now I am working on power in the bed. A couple of weeks ago I scored 2 Swing cases on CL for $50.00. I couldn't pass that up. I still haven't installed the train horns yet.

 

I forgot about the decals. You definitely have been busy George. I have done a few things to the truck but nothing too crazy. I am planning on a suspension upgrade in the near future. Either Kings or Fox 2.5 with Deaver or Alcan leaf springs. We shall see. Other than that I am still loving my Tundra!!!

 

Nice. I put Alcans in mine. My stock springs took a crap.

 

My springs are starting to flatten out a bit. Figured might as well upgrade everything while I’m at it.

 

Here’s mine with 20’s and 0 offset. If I had it to do over I’d look for +18. The 0 sticks out just a little too far. I still like it but one small puddle and it’s dirty again.

 

Fender flares will help with that lol.

 

The tan topper looks great!!

 

Installed my Cat shields this weekend. Last weekend in prep for the install, I touched up the paint on my DD exhaust and painted the Cats. Really hated to spend the coin on this but I am glad to have the shields as a theft deterrent.

I've been using them in my Tacoma for 1 year and a half, they have held up great and hold some weight. I haven't tested them to what they list at 44lbs, but so far so good and a (4) pack for $7 not a bad buy

 

My wife has something similar for her to hang her purse on in her car, she likes it.

 

I know. I just can’t decide weather I like them or not.

Not apples to apples but I've got the 17" Method 703s with 0 offset. I get about an inch and a half of poke(running 315/70/r17 Cooper STT Pros). Hope that helps

Had a little fun with this mod! I am an 80's kid and Knight Rider was one of my favorite TV shows growing up. I always wanted to have Kit and the car. I'm thinking that they should do a remake using a Tundra.

 

Ditched the stock TRD SPORT bed decals for some blacked out off road decals with mountains so I can get more poser status

 

I like the look of the new decal though. The red is took tacky on the Sports

 

How did they fix the turn signal recall? Did they install relay or just rewired the signal connector?

 

I did not make the post you referred to but, but I did find this little guy tucked under my dash a few months ago. A GPS/data collector based on my research. It can likely help in finding a stolen vehicle, but the fact it was connected/inline with my OBDII harness leads me to believe it captures driving habits as well although I can not confirm that.
