New member from Colorado. I have a 2000 Trina that I am trying to replace right front axel. Cannot get axel into housing. Tightened axel nut on axel & now cannot get axel out of hub to totally remove axel. Any help would be appreciated. Axel looked identical without mikeing.

Welcome to the site. Where are you at in CO?

Ok, so your axle isn't coming out or you did get it out and can't install the new axle?

You shouldn't need a micrometer to see if it will fit, but stranger things have happened.

    Did you ever get this?

I had the same issue and used a rubber hammer. Lined it up so it was in the housing, lined it up as straight as possible, line up the splines, pushed in to compress the cv joints, then hit the other end of the axle three or four times until it was seated.

    Hope this helps.

Not sure where you are in Colorado but I'm in Colorado Springs, wouldn't mind helping if you are close.
