I too struggled with mounting the ridiculously large and heavy Pro Eagle 3-ton jack. All the options I could think of either took up too much space or made it impossible to pull out the jack. Mounting on a swing arm bumper would be ideal at some point.

I ended up vertically mounting it on the bed rail and making a support bracket for the lower end to take some of the weight and keep it even against the bed side. Held up pretty well on a trail yesterday.

Might get drawers at some point so this may just be temporary.

Solid solution. Mounting it on a tire carrier would be super ideal for myself as well.

I don’t own one yet but I’m thinking of mocking up a lift of sorts using the tire chain to mount it where my spare tire would typically go… thoughts? Is the pro eagle too big?

I’d be concerned about rocks and stuff chipping away at it and eventually start rusting.

Well I would construct a plate/shelf for it to sit on, That way it would also be a bit more stable instead of just getting knocked around down there. I’ll post a crude mock up of what I’m thinking a little later

I would think the jack would best be stored out of the elements. I wouldn't want to expose it frequently to water, road salt, brine and grime, etc.
