    Hello All,

I like to listen to my music loud. I have this weird problem with my 2017 Crew Max Tundra Platinum Edition with Entune. Whenever I play audio through my FM I can get the volume up to about half way or 3/4 and it is loud as I like it. But, when I use bluetooth or USB, at the same volume, it's way quieter. I've made sure the volume is all the way up on my phone when using bluetooth as well.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Same issue here on my 2016. Talked with service today and apparently that's the way it is? How are you playing music with USB hookup? My phone is not read by the USB connection, service said that is only for charging phones.

Think that's just what you get with it. My FJ cruiser was the same. Unless your phone has a badass DAC like the LG V20, and you use a cabled connection, those external sources will stink. FM and CD get plenty loud for me, phone over Bluetooth not as much

Make sure the volume on your phone is turned up when you are connected through Bluetooth.

Same with me. Music def sounds better from live stations rather then streaming. Does your radio freeze
Time to time while using your phone to listen to music?

Mine did that when I first bought it. There is a TSB out on this problem. I took mine to the dealer and they updated the Entune software at no charge. It didnt freeze anymore after they performed the update.

    Hey gang,

So, I have the phone volume up on the phone. That isn't the problem. I hope that isn't "just how it is". That would be crappy. They up-sell the Entune system like it's the hotness. Do most Tundra owners just listen to FM radio, or CDs? That seems like an old school way these days with apps like Spotify.

I would consult your dealer about it. I have no issues with volume on my truck while streaming bluetooth. The audio quality sucks lol, but other than that its been good so far.
