    My first car was a '76 Toyota Truck that my grandpa gave to me. It had 105,000 miles on it and was a complete rust bucket. It had a few mechanical issues, but overall it was a good first vehicle....although it did try to kill me a few times driving in the snow/ice. That rear end would swing around at a moments notice.

    Sure brings back the memories...

    The author of the article incorrectly identifies the truck. It's a 4th Gen Hi-Lux not a third. :thumbsup:
