Wanted to start a thread for those of us who pre-ordered to discuss delivery, powder-coating/painting, and installation. Has anybody received theirs yet?

Looks about the same as all the rest, which is to say hard. gotta take off the whole front, cut the bottom off and then attach sensors etc

Did you have to run the smaller C4 skid plate also with the RCI skid?

Reviving this thread. Anyone run into issues with calibration of the front parking sensors? Mine go off constantly when coming to a stop.

Mine do it only at dips, leaving the stop sign in front of our house always sets them off. They did it really bad initially, but i took the tape off the mounts and re centered them and really pushed them in there- muuch much better. I contacted C4 about it and Caleb told me its normal. Try re mounting them.

Just curious if it would be possible to shorten this bumper to make it fit more closer to the front end? I mean when you look at the side profile it pokes a lot. The new ARB seems more snug to the body line and contour. From the front the C4 looks better. I'm looking at the no bull bar version

    Thanks

Even if you wanted to shorten it, you would loose tire/wheel well clearance. You prob could cut off the mounting bracket and weld it back an inch, but it’s not worth. You would also need to fill in the side mounting holes and re-drill new mount points.

I prefer the small outward protrusion for protection rather than the steel being flush with fenders

Maybe I was not clear. I was just looking if it would be feasable to make the bumper going backward 2 inches. I don't want it to be flush with the grill and fender. Actually if you look from the top of the bumper, it looks to have 5 inches or more. https://www.instagram.com/p/CopgmaurF1G/

And yes. ARB has one in the making. Have a look here https://theyotagarage.com/products/arb-front-bumper-2022-toyota-tundra#&gid=1&pid=1

With enough money and time anything is possible... You wouldnt be able to mount a winch, lightbar, etc back there and definitely lose protection by doing so

I’d love to see a couple more pictures if people have the triple hoop. It seems like not many people have that and the website only has the rendering. i’m debating between the C4 and the Iron Man4 x 4 triple hoops at this point.

The bumper has been in “pre-sale” / waitlist status for over 6 months, at least. I don’t think any retailer actually has it available to order yet. They’ve been teasing it since Sept of last year. I thought they’d release it shortly after last year’s SEMA but nope. ARB makes great stuff that is (typically) the most over engineered gear you’ll see, but a consequence of that is they’re always the slowest to get to market.

Ahh ARB will have one on the market some day....I'll hold my breath just like bilstein 6112's that seem to take forever to come out for any new vehicle.....in Bilstein's case they literally already make shocks for the TRD lift kit and TRD OR kit, so one would think it would be straight forward. Just like ARB has proof they have a product because you can see it on a vehicle.

pretty sure I had the only one in the wild outside of the guy who did the proto test for (I was supposed to do that but didn’t work out in my driving timeline). The Ironman one looks great as well, adventure motorsports posted a video of one on a tundra last night
