Our sub is fairly large with us almost all having lots around 2-3 acre lots. So the driveways are all around 300' +/- and the sub being about 1.25 mile walk completely around. We get a decent turnout considering we're outside city limits in the country (surrounded by farmland). But they like it. We typically play music. Lots of people use their atv's and SxS's as well pulling trailers and some with golf carts of course.

Very similar setup here. We're on county island inside of the suburbs and all our neighbors like to party with their SxSs and golf carts

What about those of us who have an Android for a personal phone but are issued an Apple for work so we know first hand just how much of a pain Apple is so we refuse to switch over our personal phone because of direct experience rather than unsubstantiated stubbornness and aren't people who post long run-on sentences annoying too?

The fact that your work for thr Canadian government and they issued you the cult phone further justifies me not having it.

Unfortunately this is the case for me too. Galaxy S22 Ultra for a personal phone and a POS iPhone SE for a work phone. And I work for the State of Arizona.

Hell, I even quit buying the expensive "S" series drops Droid phones and started buying the "A" series. Half the price or less and does the same.
Same thing with phone service. Started using cricket instead of att. Half the price and I get more. Plus no contract:notsure:

At least they issued me a decent HP laptop.

Still doesn't make up for the damn phone though.

My issued laptop is a Lenovo, aka Chinese spy device. For a government corporation constantly harping about security since we're working on a major capital project, it's a bit ironic.

I have a Signals and love it. The battery charging takes forever but it will work while it's charging. It's survived the rain and heat here.

I picked up mine a few years back on sale. I think you'll be happy with it. Get some extra probes too. I accidentally had the tip of one of my probes touch the hot grate and it killed it (the probe).

Take this as my quote back to everyone.

I’ve had inkbird for a year. Worked great but it’s last few cooks it’s done some real weird stuff and everything has been overdone. The issue is the ambient in house temps are correct but I get major discrepancies in temps between the probes as the temps rise.

    meater

it’s a PIA that it’s Bluetooth only and basics you have to sync it to a device you leave at the house and then you can check temps while away from home with another device aka my phone.

I wanted it for steaks but it doesn’t deal with high heat or flare ups well at all.

awesome concept but needs some updates

As cool as wireless is I don’t trust it. I like having a device with multiple probes it’s a better reference on what’s going on.

My Signals has been pretty spot on. I trust it more for ambient temp than the built in RecTeq probe because I can set it up right next to the meat and then I'll adjust the temp on the RecTeq according to whatever the Signals is telling me - all of this on my phone, of course.

I think you'll be happy with the Signals. If you are in the market, the Thermapen One or whatever they call it would be a good buy also. I have the older model and it has yet to let me down.
