    Set it up Matt!
Just double check conditions. I think a few trails in the area are closed bc of the bad storms we had.

I'll try to give the Forest Service a call later today to check trail conditions.

The first half of Corral Hollow is subject to an extended seasonal closure until June 15th. I'll call again once it is open to check the condition.

We're going to the eastern sierras in a month or two. And you're going this time. Hopefully we can squeeze in poker flat or something before that.

I'm dropping my daughter off at camp and will have a week to play. 8/20 I drop her off and pick her up 8/26. Can you get away from work for a day sometime in that stretch?

In Oregon? You know the solar eclipse is happening on 8/21 in Oregon. It's going to be crazy up there that week.

According to the Calaveras Ranger Station, the Corral Hollow trails are open and passable. I might drive down this weekend to check out the area and get a first hand look at the conditions of the trail head. Has anyone done the trail before? Any interest in a run on July 29th?

@dcsleeper408 Any news on Poker Flat?

Any wheeling plans in Tahoe? I did part of the Ellis Peak trail in my FJ a few years ago. The highlight was the intersection with the Rubicon. It was a lot of fun so see the rigs coming back, some of which were just limping trying to get back to the staging area.

I might be able to go on the 29th. Just got back from Huntington/ Shaver lake area. I found a little 4 wheelin' there and there's lots more that I didn't have time to investigate.

I didn't go check out Corral Hollow this weekend, because air quality is supposed to be bad in the area due to the Mariposa fire.

I'm taking my family camping this weekend. Found a campsite really close to Poker Flat so I might check it out on Saturday. But it's on the La Porte side so I'll be running it in reverse. @dcsleeper408, did the Taco guys for sure say the trail is clear?
