    Hi Gang,

I recently aquired (won) a new Road Armour 12,000 lb winch.
Not much experience with this stuff.
I'm thinking about using a receiver mount for this.
I'm only hunting back country 2 or 3 weeks a year so its not worth investing in a bumper mount.
I like the flexibility to move to between front and rear.
Any recommendations on brand to use or stay away from?
Looks like Rough Country is one of the better rated ones I've

Why not fitting a goose neck's supporting beam (only the beam, not drilling the bed or installing anything more from the kid) then routing the winch cable to the front ?
It is high enough not to be hit by any obstacle, does not add any weight to the front as the Tundra is quite nose heavy and this is the strongest anchorage point on any truck?

I know it may seem unconventional but some countries have some very strict regulations which prohibits any modification to the front fascia because of pedestrian protection law (forget about any front bumper other than the stock one)

    A+
