    I know folks here have a TON more resources than I do. I am looking for anyone that has the wiring for a standard (non-limited or above trim) headlight in the 2022 Tundra, or can ID the "hot wire" in the photo?

    My plan is to tap the positive wire in the headlight plug wire so I can power the TRD Pro fender flare marker light on the corresponding side of the truck (in the rear I am going to do the same with the taillights); bonus there are plenty of ground points in/around where I would run the wires to the marker lights.

    Since I always drive with my DRLs switched "ON", the marker lights will always be illuminated when I have the truck powered.

    So can anyone tell me which wire in the photo is the "hot/positive" wire? Would the same colored wires be in the taillight plug?

    Thank you in advance.

    Revising my request. I guess I am asking what the color wire corresponds to, this is the left hand headlight in the truck (drivers side). Per the EWD diagram there are 4 wire colors, G-green, SB-sky blue, GR-gray, and LA-(don't know what color that is supposed to be) but it looks like a light violet. As you can see in my pic I don't have a LA wire, I have a White wire.

    So, which wire is the DRL, which wire is the parking lights? I am thinking the LA (can I assume the White?) is ground per the EWB. Green is DRL? Sky Blue is the parking lights?

    I am aware that I could stick a paper clip and do a voltage test on the plug (with the truck running) but I was hoping someone will more experience could let me know in advance.

    LA= Lavender?
    Looks like LA and white are both ground so I would buzz that out with a multimeter

    LA = lavendar
    W = white
    W-B = white with black stripe.

    That's about all I can help with.

    Thank you both for the clarification on the wire legend...now to figure which wire is the DRL and which wire is the parking lights

    @Buellride did you ever figure out what was going on here? I'm trying to figure out which wires give +12vdc for the parking, DRL, low beam, and high beam. Stumbled upon your thread while looking for answer.

    Use power probe tester, I added a longer and thin metal wire to extend the head since it’s big to fit in.

    @ryanwgregg
    Any way you can determine which wire color on the plug is for the high beams?

    Even on the lower trims, the headlights are still CANBUS driven though, correct?

    Thanks, just wanted to make sure. There is another thread discussing this and using the CANM8 device from NCS with a contactless reader to trigger relays, switch pros, etc. on the standard headlights and it requires disassembling the glove box to reach a harness under the passenger side dash.

    Hi, I am currently attempting to install some DRL on the 2022 tundra limited and am having trouble finding what wire is for what. Does anyone know which one is the DRL wire?

    Sorry I haven't read the thread but I always wired the DRL into the ACC fuse under the hood. Actually that was my 2013 on my 2022 it's under the glove box in the fuses there not the 2 under the hood. It doesn't look like it's there BUT IT SURE IS.

    How did you ever make out with this? I am looking to do the same with the TRD PRO Fender Flares and the manufacturer is telling me to just T-Tap into the front marker light circuit and the rear tail light circuit...which I have no clue where that is...
