Got one of these for the surf-less winter weeks. It's quite the workout.

I used to skate as a teen, and now still have scars on both knees and elbows that will never go away. And no I didn't wear pads or helmet. I'm not a PUSS, sometimes you just had to rub dirt on it.

My family has been in the action sports scene all our life, 4 generations long. Mostly anything to do with boards. I worked in the Surf Industry for a long while and somewhat still involved. But the Surf Rep days are long gone for me.

One of my nephews was a Professional Skateboarder for over 25 years touring the world. He is now in his 50's and has a family with 2 kids.

Sergie Ventura is my nephew's name. In the Guinness Book of World Records for Highest Air, skated Vert ramps and later in his career was King
    of the Bowls.

Once of his last Gigs was touring with Madonna for 9 months, skated for 34 seconds with a red mohawk, kilt, and Doc Martins doing a fakey on a small ramp.
Then Disappearing till the last encore for "Holiday", coming back on-stage dancing and grinding on Madonna.

The stories Sergie would come home and tell are priceless.

So yeah, Skateboarding, Surfing, Snowboarding, Wakeboarding. My family knows a little about it.
