What’s going on everyone. I’ve had this tundra for about a year now after 4 tacomas. Really loving this platform as it works much more optimally for my family and I.
I’ll get to updating this build more as I go, but for now I want to introduce this rotund machine. Picked up December 2021

Nearly every mod that’s been done on this truck has been bought second hand, as I had previously built many trucks in the same manner and saved tons of money. I quickly scored a shell (major reach to find third party) and a bumper along with ADS 2.5 and camburg uppers. The next Facebook marketplace scores would begin to roll on throughout the year.

How’s the vehicle size feel to you compared to the tacomas? Detrimental or not a big deal? Most of the trails around me are very tight and often wish I was closer to 72” wide vs 80”. Huge perks in cabin/bed space though as you have said.

Inside the cab is obviously much larger, although the double cab length itself feels nearly the same. Wheel base Took some time to get used to especially out here on these Arizona technical trails. Sliders are a much greater necessity now. Yeah the biggest perk is most definitely the bed space which is ideal with three dogs.
