The stickers that are on my truck are cracking and peeling. I am planning to have them removed and would like to have them replaced with the same stickers - I like them.

That said, does anyone know if this is a Toyota sticker/badging package, or if not, how to go about getting it replaced? Would my best bet be a sign shop of some sort, or would a bodyshop be better for this?

    Try Etsy.

A lot of vendors on there could make those decals for you. Or try ebay to see if they were on there.

    Thanks for the reply!

I'll check ebay - I had not looked there. Outside of actually getting the decals, where would you go for the removal and install?

Removal shouldn't be too hard. If they're already peeling, you could probably take a heat gun and apply heat conservatively until you can peel off by hand. As far as application, if you don't feel comfortable yourself doing it, I'm sure some any audio/video automotive shop or a sign shop could install them.

Do you think there paint underneath would be less faded than the rest of the truck? If I decided to just remove them, would it be noticeable where they were?

    Alot of them
it is a possibility....really depends on the weather that they were exposed to and how long they were on there.

Well...you're already missing some where it's flaked off. Is it faded underneath that? Not sure if Black would be too noticeable either though.

I wouldn't take a heat gun to Toyota paint, it's too fragile.

A 3M eraser wheel will take all of that off.
It will remove just about all of it.
You can find them on Amazon, as well as cheaper alternative eraser wheels..

You can find youtubes on how easy it is to use.

Then polish off any remaining residue with Chemical Guys 38 or Meguiar's Swirl Remover.

Amazon.com: Chemical Guys GAP_V38_16 V38 Optical Grade Final Polish (16 oz) : Health & Household

    Amazon.com: Meguiar's M0916 Mirror Glaze Swirl Remover 2.0 - Cleaner/Polish Removes Fine Swirls, 16 oz : Automotive

It would be time-consuming so I'd recommend doing it yourself.
I'd remove it and then decide if you want to replace it.
You might like it without the decals..

Thank you for the reply and direction. the 3M eraser and Chemical Guys stuff seems reasonably straight forward... Now I just have to decide if I want to have the stickers reproduced, which I am leaning toward, and if I want to do the removal/install myself or hire it out!

That is quite a bit to remove, but once you get the hang of the eraser wheel, it should move right along.
You might even get lucky, get an edge started, and have it peel off in one or several big pieces.

That stated I've only used an eraser wheel to remove the TSS bed decal (the day I bought the truck) and tape residue from removing some badges.
I also used it on my daughter's CR-V to remove old pinstriping.

I can understand getting the decals reproduced.
I like having my Tundra look a little different from the rest...
The red matches the wheels, the silver matches the chrome...

I would try a local place that does vehicle wraps and see what they have to offer.
See what they would charge to remove it, and what they'd charge to reproduce it.
I don't know anything about vehicle wrapping so I don't know if it would look as good, or last as long as the stock decals.

    And welcome to the forum...

I’ve been wanting to add something to my truck to make it look different. I really like your original decals. I took a screenshot of yours to show the guys here.

Thanks Julikins53 - I liked them too, so I bought the truck! I have other pictures I can post, if you want to see more angles.

Sure, I’d like other pictures. And anyone’s input about other ideas. Otherwise, I’m liable to get somebody to run some 1970 Chevelle racing/rally stripes down my hood and tonneau cover. It was the one car I always wanted in my “youth” and never got to have.

They were on it when I bought it, so I'm not really sure what they are... the cap has a Toyota logo, but that could be aftermarket.
