From your past posts I'd had thought you'd have said "Is she hot?! What's the phone number?" You have many layers, my friend.

Well yes and no. Of course I want to know if she is hot, and if so, I want pics.

But as a married man with a spine, the thought of another man touching my wife (much less fucking her) would cause me to kill (slowly and painfully) said man.

Yes, I am a complex man, some would say slightly demented. I have always admitted that I am an asshole, but an honest asshole.

In my younger single days we would frequent a full nude establishment on Monday nights to watch Monday Night Football. It was BYOB and they had a nice wide screen for football off to the side, kind of a lounge area. It was great; football in front of us and naked dancers behind us. It was actually slow until later so many of the girls would sit and watch the games with us.
Those were the good old days.... LOL

So, tonight was the end of the MLB regular season, and I thought it would be appropriate to do a little follow up and acknowledge Albert Pujols' accomplishments this year and essentially in relation to his career vs. All-Time performance…

First, congrats to the Cardinals for winning their division and making it to the Playoffs. That's a huge plus for the team, and as best as I could tell far more import to Pujols than his individual performance!!!

It should be noted that Pujols' performance at the plate (and defensively on 1st base when subbing for Goldschmidt) was a determining factor in them making the playoffs. (These are team stats for this year only to exemplify his contributions for the team)
He led the team in HomeRuns per at bats w/one every 12.9 plate appearances
He hit 24 HRs (3rd best for the team) w/almost half the at bats (just over 300) of most full time players
    4th in Total Bases
    5th in Extra Base Hits
    6th in Hits
    3rd in RBIs

I'm excited that the Cards made it to the Playoffs and he and Molina will have an opportunity to play in the Post Season in the last season of their careers. I'm not necessarily a Cards fan, but I'm rooting for them to do well…

Ok, so on to a non-all inclusive list of Albert's All-Time stats achieved throughout his career. So, first the big one everyone thinks about: Home Runs…

Albert finished 4th on the All Time list for Home Runs w/703… passing A-Rod during the season.

Albert finished 2nd on the All Time list for RBIs w/2218… passing Babe Ruth a couple of games ago.

Albert finished 5th on the All Time list for Doubles w/686.

Interesting stat: Albert is one of only two players (Hank Aaron is the other) to have ever achieved 700HRs, 2200RBIs and 600 Doubles

Interesting stat #2: Albert hit Home Runs off of 455 different pitchers throughout his career, passing Barry Bonds earlier in the season to take the #1 position of this All Time stat.

Perspective (because I like to): Anyone that follows or knows anything about baseball knows that Mike Trout is one of the greatest (active) players to ever play the game. Mike Trout just hit his 350th Home Run today. If his performance remained on track and he was able to stay reasonably injury free, it would take him another 12/13 seasons to reach the 700 HR club; another 12/13 seasons of RBIs (at the same rate he's been on) would still leave him hundreds shy of Albert. Pujols' batting average (lifetime) is only a few shy of Trout's lifetime average (and generally speaking that will go down as he ages). If Trout remained on his current pace w/doubles and hits, he would still be nearly 100 short of Albert at the end of another 12/13 seasons (even with his athleticism and speed). This is truly an incredible perspective that really illustrates the accomplishments of Pujols… Sorry I digressed!!!

Albert finished #3 on the All Time list for Sacrifice Flys w/123

Albert finished #3 on the All Time list for Extra Base Hits w/1,405 passing Ruth and Stan Musial this year.

Albert finished #2 on the All Time list for Total Bases w/6,211

Albert finished 9th on the All Time list for Hits w/3,384

Albert finished 11th on the All Time list for Runs Scored w/1,914

Albert finished 5th on the All Time list for Games Played w/3,080; just one shy of Ricky Henderson

Albert finished 6th on the All Time list for At Bats w/11,421; falling just short of Ty Cobb for the #5 spot

Albert has a lifetime Batting Average of .296; a lifetime slugging percentage of .544; and a lifetime OPS of .918

Albert Pujols has made numerous playoff appearances and has 2 World Series Rings w/the Cardinals!!! Albert also is 5th on the All Time list for Post-Season Home Runs w/19 (so far o_O) and has a Post Season Batting Average of .321...

There is a reason his nickname is The Machine. Albert is undoubtably a future Hall of Famer, but even more important than all the above stats and accomplishments is the fact that he genuinely seems like a really good person. He seems to have a deep care for family, community and helping others; something that is lacking in a lot of today's professional athletes. The man has character and I admire him not only as a player but as a human being as well. I've had a lot of fun focusing on him and his performance and stats this year.

The Cards are definitely not favored to make it very far in the playoffs. Even though they are ranked in the #3 seed in the National League, overall odds put them at 11th out of the 12 teams making it to the playoffs. Fingers crossed they surprise everyone and make it to the World Series and even more fitting would be for Albert and Yadi to earn another World Championship in their final season.

If you are a MLB fan (or even if you're not), I'd encourage you to catch a game or two this post season (which starts on the 7th) or at least search for and watch some of the numerous videos out their highlighting Albert's performance and accomplishments this season and over the duration of his career in addition to some of the interviews w/him throughout the year. When you listen to him speak, it's clear where his heart is; and in a time where everyone in the world is so worried about what everyone is thinking about their public appearance/perception, Albert pushes all that aside and stands for what he believes in and leads by exceptional example.

Enough of my soap box; cheers!!!

It has been fun watching Albert Puljos back with the Cardinals.
He was always a menace to our Astros when they were still in the National League.

He is quite respectable as a player on and off the field.

Does this mean they're discontinuing MGM for the non-Pro trucks?

Either way, it's a good move. MGM is the most superior of colors.

MGM was a standard pro color forever so I think Toyota is just getting back to normal operations with that part. Probably the single smartest decision they’ve made, literally ever. I’m not biased though.

You don't even own a Tundra any more.

I agree, makes sense to me. I'm totally not biased either.
