    My family had a blast on this trail. We went from Ouray to Telluride. There was maybe one or two pucker moments where it seemed like the trail leaned a bit toward the cliff side or where it narrowed slightly. But for the most part, despite keeping one eye laser-focused on the edge, it was a very relaxing ride through some of the most beautiful country on this continent.

    It’s a strange feeling reliving the memories of that trip in the wake of hearing about three people who fell to their deaths in a Jeep recently. The guy driving was apparently a guide the two ladies hired to take them up the pass.

    You absolutely must respect these trails.
