Hi all. I have a leak -- most likely from my rear window. I've looked at the sticky with PHM's instructions on cleaning the drains on the rear sliding window on an AC. But when I look at my rear window, I don't see how it comes apart to get at the gaskets and drains.

    Any help is appreciated.

And you're 100% sure it's not your 3rd brake light? Just asking.

Anyway, there's a couple of drains up top. One on either side of the back window, where the roof rack cover slides under the window frame - you need to gently pull up the rubber roof rack cover to get access to the drain channel for cleaning.

EDIT: Read this for more info on how to clean the channel and its water routing.

No, I'm not 100% sure it's not the 3rd brake light. I'll check that too while I'm back there.

Just bumping this because I needed to edit my post above to link to newer instructions for clearning the upper drains.

@tvpierce did you ever figure out PHM's post about cleaning the lower sliding window drains? I gotta admit, I've looked at my slider 3-4 times now trying to figure out what drains he's cleaning in the sliding channel and I can't find it either.

Granted, there's a lot of dirt and shit in my channel, so it may be clogged already, I'm just not seeing any physical hole anywhere along the base of the window on the inner-cab side.

I cleaned mine. They were pretty obvious. Can't find a pic of when I did it off-hand but I thought I took one. There's just a couple holes in the bottom of the track that the window slides in.

Yeah, I'm coming up short on that one. How bizarre. I wonder if the later years just don't have them like the earlier years?

I am chasing down a leak in my rear window (and your post from June has been a HUGE help!). I had just seen that my truck has the drainage holes on the inside of the slider track, and I'll take a picture for you later today :)

I'd love to see 'em. I can't figure out where the hell they are still.

Here's a picture of them! When I blasted air through the line, I was able to feel it come out the drainage hole at the corner of the window seal on the exterior of the cab. It seems I'm hoping that clearing those drains (assuming they were blocked) will fix my leak - it looked like it was coming from the slide track.

Maybe my issue is not popping out a seal or something, or popping out the wrong side? How'd you manage to get that seal up? Mine looks like totally different window....

Here's a pic of mine, in full sun, so it looks super crusty:

My picture is of the track on the passenger's side pane (and I have the seats taken out). They are also on the driver's side, but none in front of the middle pane. You're correct, I did pull the sliding track seal up to find these holes.

I found these based on your post outlining all the possible leaks! Here's the post you had linked in there that shows the sliding track removed and talks about cleaning out the drain underneath: https://www.tundras.com/threads/the...ld’-a-chronological-story.46816/#post-1210451

It looks like the seal may of had adhesive holding it in before, but mine was basically deteriorated, so it was easy to pull mine up.

Yeah, mine just wasn't peeling up and I didn't want to damage anything.

PHM's post is what I was working off of. I don't even see in the rubber track/seal where there's a hole in the drain on mine. It's super weird.
