    Hi everyone!

I'm new here and nice to meet you all!

I currently own a 2017 Tacoma TRD Sport 2WD 80k Miles. I am in the process of trading it in for a 2018 Tundra TRD 4x4 Off Offroad with 80k miles, 1 owner, and no accidents.

    2018 Tundra: $38,380.37 OTD
    2017 Tacoma Trade In: -$26,500.00
    NEW OTD Price: $11,880.37

Please let me know if you think I'm getting ripped off or if this is worth it. I would mainly use this for pleasure and wanted to try out offroading (would rarely do it).

    Thank you all!

It’s only a rip off in the eye of the buyer. And if it’s worth to you then who cares.

My opinion would be that it’s over priced. But the market is f’ed and as long as people keep paying top dollar, sellers will keep asking it.

Check KBB, the price does not seem out of line.

Price seems in line. I just paid 43k for a CM 1794 4x4 with 50k on the odo.
There were sr5’s going for that price and more.

Unfortunately this is the crazy market we are in. And it is not going to change until the supply chain returns or a recession hits (I am banking on later at this point). But I don’t know if you can wait for either OP…. IMHO I would wait if I COULD.

With that said if it’s the truck is nice, well kept and what you really want then just do it. It’s not a ripoff per se but again (in my opinion) a lot of money for a four year old truck with THAT amount of mileage. Personally the mileage bothers me the most at that price. For whatever my opinion is worth…good luck OP!

Really nice 2018! That's the perfect year with having TSS and the trans cooler. You'll like the updated guage cluster and possibly BSM mirrors too.

People knock the TSS, but it's braking saved my butt one morning on my way to work. Traffic had stopped unexpectedly and the truck automatically hit the brakes before I did because I looked down at the radio.
