Thanks, I used the Auto Scan, and it pulled up A/T Oil Temp 1 and A/T Oil Temp 2. Anyone know what the difference between the two are?

A/T Oil Temp 1 has been consisent in the 195-215 range. However, this afternoon, I noticed A/T Oil Temp 2 around 235.

    Thanks!

    Pete

Thank you. It did. Do you know the difference between the A/T Oil Temp 1 and A/T Oil Temp 2?

One should be pan temperature and one is... somewhere else. I think it's most likely the torque converter output temperature, though I am not positive.

The TC output temperature will likely rise faster and higher than the pan temp.

Whatever this forum told me to do
    yes

    1 is pan
    2 is TC

2 will fluctuate as TQ happens...cruising down hwy, they should be equal-ish

you can choose TC lockup & gear. along with the above is a good picture when towing

    I just received a Scangauge 3.

The stock configuration shows the trans temp and lock up status however I thought there were two transmission temperatures? Pan and Converter. I can only see one.

Anyone have the manual codes for the two transmission temps on the ‘22 tundras? I can’t seem to find them on the scangauge website.

Did you get the SG 2 or 3? Maybe the pic just popped up as the 2 when you were typing.

Data I've collected from a 22' Tundra seems to indicate that only 1 Transmission Temp is supported. The feedback I've gotten on it is that it appears to be reading from the Pan.

I had the same question. After discussion with scangauge they sent me a data logger to capture an image of what's going on.

When they analyzed the file they found no evidence of a second sensor. They said they will continue to research.

Based on how slowly the temperature changes I think the one that is being displayed is the pan temp.

The 22+ Tundra only reports the single value, which is Pan temp, regardless of reader.

Oh darn. I missed the part about that being a '22 tundra. What about the '19? I would like to get a scangauge 2 but I will rethink that if it does not give me the data I need when checking fluid level.

Whatever this forum told me to do
I use it everyday. stays hooked up.

Since my dash mileage is jacked up due to tuning, the SG3 is damn accurate on the mileage.

    it's within a 10th of a gallon on fillups.

Nice. I just ordered the Rago dash plate but I will most likely keep it where my SG2 is. I like things hidden. ICS can custome make a mount for it if I want to use it on the Rago at all.

Question on that mount. Can it be mounted from the bottom side of the vent and the holding portion rotated? I'm looking at their phone mount but I want to have it lower on the dash on the vent to the right side of the steering wheel.

You can mount at any orientation along the air vent, but you’d have to move the actual flaps of the vent accordingly - and they would be locked into that position.

Gotcha. Thanks for the reply. I'll take some pics tomorrow of what I'm looking at doing to replace my current phone mount. It looks like I would be able to get the Tackform fairly close to the dash.

How is this mount holding up for you? Location good? Holds the SC3 well? Take your rig off of any sweet jumps and the mount held up? :muscleflexing:Thanks!

Question for those switching from an SG2.
How or where did you mount the SG2??
I can't figure out a good way to do it.
