My son has recently got me back into the hobby of sports card collecting (mainly baseball). I’m now addicted to the chase. I’m starting this thread to show off any big pulls you might have.

Today I grabbed a 22 Topps Heritage box, couple variants and a patch card

 

Excellent! I recently started getting Manny into card collecting. Great hobby.

 

Found a random box of 2021 Panini Select at the local Target. Took a shot on it and pulled a Mac Jones rookie and 2 Najee Harris rookies.

 

Got my baseball son into this last year - here are some of his good pulls.

 

Got this Diamond Icons yesterday. #7/10 made. Pedroia is one of my all time favorites

 

Starting to go through my cards from when I was a kid. Building a data base of what I have, and found these two rookies

 

Still have my 150+ Nolan Ryans along with George Bretts and Cal Ripkin Jrs

 

Was a big Clemens fan as a kid, so had a bunch of his cards. Also a couple cards from a collection my father in law had that we found in a cigar box.

 

whats crazy is i had both of those cards and ditched the box years ago

 

Not worth much out of the box, but if you get them graded, they can pop for 400 a piece

 

Thinking back to when I thought these 4 cards were going to put my kids through college. Forgot what a great year for rookies that was. 87 Topps

My son has just started collecting baseball cards as he loves baseball. Are Topps the most valuable? That’s the main brand we have been buying.

 

From a collectible/value angle, yes, due to their mlb license the other brands don’t have. Panini is only licensed under the players union, so team logos and nick names are not displayed, only the team city

some PSA graded rookies and the dealer threw in a 2021 Julio Rodriguez Bowman refractor card.

 

Been buying a bunch of the new Topps Heritage cards trying to piece together a set. I’m about 3/4 of the way there. Pulled an auto in the last box.

 

I've got some cards out to PSA for grading. ill put them up when I get them back

 

Took advantage of the wife and kids being gone and sorted my 2023 Topps series 2. I have the complete base set

 

I also pulled out my Auto cards for a humble brag photo. Not all top players, but it feels good any time you pull an auto

 

My son would love to get that Corbin Carroll card for his collection.

I thought these would be more valuable than they are when I pulled them out of the box… maybe some day when my kids are old they’ll be worth something.

 

You never know, the market can be weird. You can find the right buyer that might over pay because they are a fan
