I'd give ECGS them a call and see if they'll make it right. I believe they're supposed to last quite a bit longer than that.

    Seat covers, SnugTop.
Got the shovel/axe brackets cut to correct size to fit what I have (opened up the hole a little too much on the shovel side, but the handle side is good). Used 1/4-20 jack nuts instead of just sheet metal screws.
I'll take them off this weekend and have it sandblasted next week to paint.
The brackets also give a pretty good spot to store my jack handle and machete.

I installed my seat jackers a week ago today. I wasn't uncomfortable in the seat before however the reviews here on the forum made me want to try the product. I'm 6'1" so not to tall but tall enough to look for some added leg support. My opinion after a week is that the seat feels completely different. So much more overall leg comfort, its like i am now sitting "in" the seat instead of "on" the seat. Incredibly easy install and the shipping of the product was prompt.
My last two mods have been the seat jackers and the OEM bumper/bed step. Both of those are very good for this 53 year old body!

    Ditch lights, fogs, and lightbar.

I've probably rewired all of that on mine numerous (4+) times, take your time and make it exactly how you want it ;)

**I'd suggest adding in waterproof plugs at all junctions (if the light doesn't have it already)- IE where the front bumper disconnects (if applicable), right under the ditch brackets etc etc

Good advice. I’ve done my share of wiring and you speak truth.

I indeed have weatherproof plugs at all fixtures, soldered all wire connections, relays, loom etc.

yep, only way to do it, makes for a nice clean look, especially when you make your own wiring harnesses, no excess wire bundled up

Finally got around to using my Meguairs Ceramic Spray Coating yesterday. Was very surprised at how smooth it made the paint. It felt as if I had used a ClR Bar

After getting 62k miles out of my K02's I bit the bullet and got some new tires a couple days ago.

Cooper Discoverer ATP II's in 275/70/18.

Only a few miles but impressed with how quite they are. We'll see how they do off-road as I'm headed to SE Utah tomorrow for a few days of camping, gun shooting, rum drinking, and me time.

    IMG_20220825_131933617_HDR.jpg

    Friggen tire prices are ridiculous.

    Nice.

What was your rotation schedule on those KO2s?

Just mounted some about 2k miles ago.

Pretty much at oil changes which I do every 7500, or so. There certainly wasn't much tread left in them though. Maybe 2/32's. Discount wouldn't even mount the best one of the 4 as a spare.

    Thank you!

I plan to do mine every 5k with oil change, but started getting paranoid and wondering if I should rotate every 3k.

Word on the street is, these tires like to be rotated fairly frequently.

I appreciate your input and experience!

I have these on my Tundra and would really like to find a better alternative but there is nothing out there.
These rust really quickly and if you use your bed to haul wood chips, dirt, etc. they fill up with debris and are a pain to clean out. Have to keep them lubricated also.

    1 or 2... I lost count
Snagged my trailer plugs on something a while back and had to bend the bracket back into place. Decided I didn’t want to deal with it in the future again, so I relocated the plugs up by the license plate.
