Looks like all FJ's. I didn't see too many trucks. I know they hold their meetings at Stevenson's West. I thought some of the Colorado forum guys may be members already since this is one of the oldest Toyota clubs in the state. They do a lot of 4X4 trail restoration and clean up projects with "Colorado Stay the Trail". We need a Tundras only club or is there one already? I know you have mentioned get togethers with some of the local guys.

Eh, we get together with the local TW guys...trying to plan a meet at a brewery soon...there's some wheeling trips being planned too (I would just ride shotgun) but no dates have been nailed down for either.

Not sure about the "Mostly FJ's"...I have been friends with and had dealings with Rising Sun for 20+ years and they have a bit of everything from old 40's and 45's to the newer stuff. Great group of people and a very active club that is open to folks "joining in on one of their runs" just to check things out. My buddy was just back in Colorado and snagged a ride on their recent run. Worth checking out.

My cable guy, who is a member, said trucks were welcome. The only requirement was Toyotas only. Their site has a lot of FJ's and 4 runner pics. There are some trucks too. I like the organized volunteer work that they do. Gives 4 wheeling a good name considering so many want to shut off our access. I recently signed up with CO Stay the Trail Org. which is all about keeping access available through volunteer efforts here in CO.

Rising Sun is a Chapter of the Toyota Land Cruiser Association. As such it is open to all 4wd Toyotas. Started with quite a few FJ40's and early Mini's but as folks get older the rigs get plusher. More newer stuff with quite a few 80's & 100's. I did a Cruise Moab run about 9 years ago in my 1st Gen Tundra after I broke my 40 on Hells Revenge. As stated before, a great bunch of folks and an awesome club!

I hear ya. I always make time to 4 wheel. That s what it's all about. Spend too much time on computers as is. Seems it gets harder to delegate any extra time anymore. Too much going on.
