So let’s just be on the safe side and say nothing shipped for another 2-3 months?

If anyone is on the fence on getting these plates, just do it. A couple of months ago installed Classy's aluminum plates on my 21 tundra for less than it cost me to replace the single rear cat that was cut from son's Kia Sorrento last week. His car was in a fenced parking lot at work and the rat bastards still got it.

Mine was in Ocala last night which is about 90 miles from the Tampa area. FedEx often delivers on Sunday so we shall see if it's a day early.

Got my V3 plate and hardware today. I'll have to schedule the time for the install ASAP. I can say that the quality is top drawer just like the rest of Valhalla Shields product offerings. For me, the wait times have been worth it.
Thank you @Classy63. I'm a perfectly happy customer.

I need to make a write up how to line it up, but essentially, line up the forward edge of vertical plate to the edge of the Valhalla emblem and then center it up otherwise.

So I finally got my truck back up on my friend's lift and removed the small factory transfer case skid plate and reinstalled the 3/16 Valhalla plate and now the vibration is really loud as it's hitting the transfer case slightly. What's the best thing to do? Push in a rubber pad, cut out a little or what? The plate isn't bent at all so I was surprised it still hit.

Gotta take off that little black paper-thin shield on the bottom of the transfer case for clearance

Oops my bad. I skimmed over it too fast. Maybe shim down the plate at the crossmember with nylon washers then. Y'all talked a little about that earlier somewhere. I'm planning to to do just that at install but more to protect the powder coat from wearing where it touches the truck.

Packages shipped today with 3 plates. That was a nice email to receive this morning - thank you, Tyler!

Please take good notes for me regarding the install. I'm gonna need them when I install mine. It's a good thing that you're detail oriented.

    I'd like to think I'm detail-oriented.
I just put together a new office desk, furniture in a box (well 4 boxes), I had to take apart 2 different pieces because I put them in wrong..:(

    But it's all done now..

Hey Tyler, mind if I get an update on order # R171192497.

It's just the TRD PRO Skid Plate nut plate. Just want to have it on hand if I need to take the plates down and not to deal with the PITA install again.

For some reason your site doesn't have any of my order history so that's why I'm reaching out here.

    Thanks!

This isn't an official how to install the 2WD vert plate, this is just a short rundown of how I did it.
The pics and instructions aren't perfect, it was already 100° outside and I had to do this in the driveway.
Sorry I didn't take more pics during installation.

@Classy63 let me know if I need to change anything for a proper install.

I did this on my tailgate using scrap 2X4s under the plate to drill the holes.

I dropped the rear plate, the blue Loctite came apart easily with my Dewalt impact driver..
Tyler said to position the plate even with the logo cut out.
I tried extending it out a bit, but you can see in my marks the bolts were getting too close to the edge of the rear plate.

    tpr81jb9_29ec589d4dd258c3ad07d1ac5c21428df4191395.jpg

I positioned the v-plate about 1/8" below the logo.
I centered it about 1 3/4" from the holes on the rear plate on each side.

    29gyiu3i_7a7f403c6fe2c75e3283826f1137b987af7852f1.jpg

Marked the holes with a silver Sharpie.

    2yegmmit_e098a8beaa4f75272fa1c9da6b6a4b9eba2e8cf9.jpg
    wyhs0y9g_572c5cbd39fd86502c2f80537b4fa483883731dd.jpg

I used a 3/8 drill bit to drill the first hole.
For the others, I drilled a smaller pilot hole, and that seemed to make the 3/8 bit go thru easier.

    hh68go50_59266f6d5f804af3ebcc6d7e66db66add9f16cda.jpg

I stuck all the bolts in on a piece of cardboard and slowly lifted the plate and cardboard using the cardboard to hold the bolts in place.
Set it up on edge and installed the washers and nuts using a 3/16 Allen head socket on my impact driver and a 1/2 combination wrench.

    q53853in_0e48273bffc8d2f69bfb4292c33d98d8a8154ee5.jpg

I then reinstalled the rear plate.
Although I'm sure the v-plate is functional and does prevent access, I think it provides more of a visual deterrent, much like the shields as a whole.
I feel a thief would be more likely to move on to an easier target.
As well if they did try cutting the pipes, it would take too much time to work the exhaust pipe and 2 cats over and past the shields.

    Before pics..

When I was done I had the engine idling for a while while I changed my interior bulbs out.
I noticed a puddle under the truck that I'd never seen and thought it was a fuel leak.:eek2:
Turns out it was A/C condensation dripping off the back of the shields..
