aFe 31-10146, was $88 on Amazon. Though read the comments/do some checking because I thought I read the 2014+ tundras had a different intake that might be a different part number...

That looks like the same part number I've seen.

The magnuson intake uses the larger 07-13 lower airbox if I recall. Just order one for that year range and you should be good.

I'm reaching out AFE to see what the cost is to create the filter in the 7R media for more filtration.

The Magnuson airbox supplied for 14+ is the 07-13 box with a different lid. The one snivilous posted is correct.

    https://afepower.com/afe-power-31-10146-magnum-flow-pro-dry-s-air-filter

I will caution you about it though, the oem with rigid frame is way better than the aftermarket for dust/off-road use, the pro-dry/aftermarket clogs up really fast and the edges opposite the pleats pull into the airbox letting lots of dust through. The 14+ box sucks, pic of 07-13 and 14-21 side by side.

That's great info. What's the part number for the oem rigid? Assuming what's pictured would be the oem.

Correct, that would be considered a 5.25 second 0-60 run.

I had the POS k&n for the trd air box/sc but just put a stock paper WIX which visually is a 10x better filter and no cleaning required. I dont care if I loose a bit of power as the piece of mind is worth the loss.

What's interesting there is that I've used both filter elements in very dusty conditions. The paper wix let more dust through than the K&N. Tested this on another tundra same result so who knows lol. Hopefully the 7R filters more out.

Just to elaborate we removed the lid and inspected into the TB area and into the first portion of the blower tb area and found more dust remanence.

my biggest comcern with the k&n is how the sides just collapse in and do not hold their shape despite stretching the pleates to make it square again.

So my first run in 4WD is a 5.0 sec due to latest info.
I’ll have to try brake boosting to get better numbers.

That’s basically where I’m at too. I’m having trouble getting the dragy to properly read the slope though to give me a “verified” run. I found the flattest road I could around and it reads it as sloped….in both directions in the same section of road! Not possible lol. If that’s reading it as a % grade, then there’s no way it can be right. Might have to mess with how it’s mounted or something.

That said here was the best I was able to get tonight, and I also listed some pertinent info that would be Included in a proposed Dragy thread.

5.04 with rollout and 5.26 without. 1800RPM brake boosting.

    77 degrees ambient. 553’ elevation

Doublecab 4x4 with 33x12.50 Kendas. Stock gears. Stock transmission. 93 octane (1/2 38 gallon tank)
Harrop w/80mm pulley, 650cc injectors, stock intake (3.5”) and a DAP remote tune.

The heavy add ons include the bed cap and Go Rhino rear bumper. Under seat storage filled with tools and recovery gear, and a 34”spare tire. Without the cap and gear and some cooler temps I think I could hit some 4s!

Damn that's fast for these big rigs! I need to order mine lol. Thermal wrapping has begun. I'm waiting for the heat wrap for the intake tube and intercooler lines. I went pretty thick to hopefully create a barrier. We'll see.

I'm impressed considering no one is optimizing for speed. These are some respectable numbers IMO. Tundra can scoot.
