Yes sir, picked up my 2022 TRD Pro last Thursday, thing is a beast!…seriously couldn’t be happier…you know how much I loved that 2020 Platinum, and all the sweat/time I put into it building it for the channel, but honestly, you couldn’t pay me to go back, this ‘22 Pro is insane

Thanks! I used metallic copper plasti dip for the interior and black for the beadlock ring. Had them sitting in the garage for years and figured I’d give it a try. Never liked the matte black and the wheels came with the truck.

 

Those look great! What color did you use for the base coats of the copper color?

 

Insane in a good way…I loved my ‘20 Platinum but this is an upgrade in every way imaginable…ride quality, power, torque, interior features, etc…haven’t found one major complaint yet, truck is a beast

Used the “QuickSteel” 2 part epoxy putty, but anything like that would do the job!

I took a few things off but left most of the major mods intact, they gave me a great price for the trade so definitely can’t complain!

 

Thanks buddy, it took me so much searching before I decided to just email Borla. The warehouse manager I was in touch with told me she would send another. Crossing my fingers it shows up in better condition.

 

Yeah, the pain is real... After waiting 3 months for parts for the repair to my truck after being rear ended while parked, the body shop emailed me on June 9 to say that the truck was done (I was returning from Europe on the 10th) and that I could pick it up on the Monday. When I called on Monday, he said "Ummm. I have some bad news. Someone broke into the compound and stole the cats."

I'm into the third month of driving a rental Tahoe (on the body shop's dime)... Delivery dates keep getting pushed. Latest is this Wednesday, but I wont be surprised if there's another delay. Cover those babys up! My RCI shields are at my mechanic and will go on right quick!

 

I just put it right over the stock method matte black and did 3 coats of copper (1 light and two heavier coats).

 

Took the rig camping again and hit some trails. Also, thanks to Alpine offroad for these badass heritage edition straps.

 

Looks so much better than black. Curious how it holds up over time.

 

Finally got around to installing the NAPA Maxitrac awning. Had to get it done soon before our camping trip.

 

Added some custom cat protection.
