Minus the empty Absolut bottles and the passed out naked girls with puke in their hair. Nowadays I have to take the dogs for an hour walk at night so I can have a cigar. The wife and 4 daughters (2 sets of twins) in their twenties never miss an oppurtunity to tell me its a disgusting habit. God most definitely has a good sense of humor.

Except appliances IMO, I buy middle of the road stuff without bells and whistles. Usually lasts a lot longer than the latest and greatest.

Does anyone have tips for painting block walls? Because of how rough it is, it's taking forever. I even bought rollers made for textured walls and concrete.

The finished sections look great though.

They are solid. I have one that I use and abuse and it keeps on ticking. Just be sure to clean it really well after each use.

I think I'm going to pick one up. I have never used a sprayer of any kind. Do I have to use paint thinner?

The dangers of being married 40+ years shows up when she says YES to buying new TOOLS o_O:rolleyes: She has a "plan to recycle/upfit" the Old :p... I upgraded to a new aluminum step ladder !!!thumbnail_IMG_4376 ladder 1.jpg thumbnail_IMG_4377 ladder 2.jpg

Her Corlloa is "hiding" across the way ;) and don't mind the Riva' views , they get dam distracting at times :rofl::rofl:

And NO, do not ask about the other finish boards; "Honey-doo" for this week.... Water system tanks are going into "hiding"

And yes, those are fishing poles hiding in my shed but at 100 plus degrees ain't no way I'm saying here fishy-fishy

Painted the entire interior of my house (including ceilings) with an airless HF sprayer. Took literally days to tape/mask/cover everything, but only a few hours to do the painting. Intake tube goes straight into the 5 gallon bucket and I bought extra hose and extension tips on eBay. I just placed it in a central location and pulled the hose through the house.
Just note, you will go through a ton of paint, you will get covered, you will go through many face masks, use fans and open windows. Make sure that it's an old fan you don't care about, cause it'll get coated up good.

Free weekend from our two oldest kids meant a honey do list project. Floor bed frames for the girls with mini attached night stands. Need to pop some wood plugs over the recessed hardware and flush em. Going to burn the wood and stain/poly tomorrow. Mattresses fit like a glove! Ignore the stain...my oldest decided to pour a bottle of syrup all over the mattress a few months ago (smells great though lol)....
