    ***SOLD***

Selling a brand new set of King 2.5" coilovers with remote reservoir and clicker adjuster. The part number is 25001-143A and they come with 600lb coils. These should work with 07-21 Tundra's. These are standard travel and would be a good options for those that want a minimal lift to leveling without having to change upper control arms but still have the added benefit of a smooth body shock with adjusters. These units are brand new, in the original box. Had originally bought these for my Land Cruiser with a Tundra front end conversion but decided to go in a different direction. Avoid the 40+ week wait times and get these now.

Asking: $1800 + shipping. Located in Boise, ID. Would prefer local pick-up but shipping can be arranged.

Interested, would need a quote to ship to 98671.

Could possibly figure out a meet up as well. But need to see what shipping would be first.

Price drop to $1,800 + shipping.

Also have had a "member" ask to pay with Zelle or PP F&F. I will only accept payment with Paypal Goods and Services (I take the 3% hit) from a verified address. This same "member" also asked me to ship it to their "friends" business address. Again, I will only ship to your residence and I will provide insurance protection to cover the price of the product. This is the only way I will sell. Sorry folks, scammers out there have ruined the good will for most of us.

Zelle is pretty safe imo. straight to your bank account. Paypal been known to do shady stuff too since they act as middleman.
Also business @ probably to save on shipping costs. UPS being cheaper to business.
just my 0.02. Good luck with sale. I run the same shocks and they are great.

We’ve experienced scammers using Zelle specifically on our sites. I’d suggest avoiding it.

The member that he refers to is me I am not a "prince from a foreign country" trying to "scam" I first asked to use Zelle before any mention of only using Paypal. And also my Fedex driver sucks and can't manage to leave boxes in a discrete location at my house I think if he could he would just leave packages at the curb. So that's why I asked to be shipped to as you refer it as my "friends" business which in fact is a legitimate business that if you were so worried you could have looked it up you had the name and address. Look I get it if you had been scammed before but in all fairness I don't believe you had given me much of a chance to explain or answer any questions that you could have asked. And again I the buyer would be at the greatest risk if I would have sent the funds and didn't receive the goods

It’s really the sellers choice who he wants to sell to. I would’ve been leery considering you have a low post count and haven’t been around very long, in addition to the friends and family and different shipping address.

We sell sellers get scammed just as much as buyers. We advise every one use caution whether buying or selling.

Don't take it personally my friend. Low post count is a huge red flag when selling on forums. Not to say a member with 2000 posts can't scam someone but it's much less likely when a member is active and contributes daily.

I appreciate your response and I am not here to drag your name in the mud either which is why I did not mention your username in my post. I will say, however, there were many things that raised concerns in our conversation and patterns of behavior in which are consistent with online scams.
    • After PM'ing me you asked me to contact you directly at your email outside of this forum. This is common in scams to redirect the conversation outside of forum through email.
    • Use of payment methods such as Zelle or Paypal Friends and Family. Again, another payment medium commonly used in scams. I will never ask a buyer to use either method and would prefer Paypal goods and services for the reassurance of the buyer. I am willing to eat the 3% fee because that gives buyers protection as well. Yes I know I would be on the "beneficial" side of the payment method but not willing to do that as it is unfair to the buyer and I am not looking for leverage.
    • I am not opposed to shipping to a business or another address but do realize this is also often another tactic used in scams. Sending to "friends, family, business" etc etc as a way to redirect the package to an illegitimate address and claim it was not delivered.
    • The business you had mentioned had two addresses. One listed on their website which you wanted me to send it to and one listed on google. Google maps said that address and business was "Temporarily closed". There were no Google reviews. The business also did not have a facebook page, no facebook reviews, and no social media presence. I get that not every business is involved in social media but given that it was a Hot Rod customization shop I would expect some google reviews and/or facebook page. Very little for me to confirm the legitimacy of this business other than a webpage that did not have much info on it.
It was not just one thing gave me a red flag. As you can see, all those things combined made my ears perk up a little bit and gave me concerns. I don't discriminate against people with low post count as that is not necessarily a judge of someone's character or authenticity but your last activity and post on here was April 2022. It's not uncommon for an account to be hacked into and taken hostage my a scammer.

So there you have it. I am not calling you a scammer directly as I do know for sure. But I'd say you asked and requested things which are consistent with online scams. No I have never been scammed online before and I hope to never be either but that's only because I trust my gut feeling and this time it said to walk away.

I think we all see both sides of the situation now. However, if both parties are still interested, maybe yall can still work out a sale. I personally like talking to folks on the phone, you get a idea of who you're doing business with. Also fail safes of asking for tracking info, shipping receipt etc. I agree with OP, the PayPal business/goods and services is a good idea. Other platforms use similar things. These make things safer for the buyer. No reason to refuse as a buyer imo. Hopefully OP you can still get a sale lined up, this is a good deal.

I can agree with you the buyer in this. Honestly I have a low count but I am very active in reading and modifying my truck. I don’t have much or any interest in talking on forums. I mostly just want to see what kind of part finds there are and where I can buy another member’s item at a discounted price, rather than paying full price ( which can be especially expensive living in Canada) . I don’t have the time to be socializing constantly online, but this post got my attention and I can totally relate

Lol. You know I’ve still got a lot of miles to go on mine. But if I had an extra $1800 and a safe in my garage, I’d buy them just as future investment. I’ve even got family up that way.

Ya know… As I think this through, if you were to get them mounted on your truck in the US, you could probably just cruise back over with no problems.
