Saw that Coastal Offroad recently released a new DIY winch bumper for the Tundra. They're pretty popular in the Tacoma/4Runner/FJ circles for their DIY parts. It looks really good and is priced very well. Whats especially nice is that the center section is prebent, so its essentially welding the winch carriage along with the side panels. Pretty easy.

@CovaTundra on Instagram recently got the bumper and sent me some great pics of his build. Design is similar to the C4 bumper. Can be had with or without a hoop as well. Here are some pics. Definitely give him a follow on Instagram for sharing these.

I just ordered the bumper. They're running a 10% off sale through tonight too.

Other than the angle of the lights, not bad at all if you like that bumper style.

They sell an aluminum option if you can weld aluminum , just about doubles the price though

I have a BNIB aluminum version of this bumper that I am going to list for sale pretty soon if anyone is interested. I have decided to go in a different direction.

Alabama. But these kits are relatively easy to ship.

I did the rough country diy bumper before they stopped selling. It will be a fun and rewarding project. It was a lot of work but worth it. Enjoy the build and bumper looks good!

As an update, i ended up building this bumper. Extremely happy with the quality and easy of assembly. I highly recommend this bumper. The clearance and how tight it is to the front end is a huge benefit. My only gripe is that many winches will require an aftermarket power-steering cooler to relocate it to fit a winch due to how little this bumper protrudes forward from the truck. But a small price in my opinion. Here are some pics of my build. Feel free to check my build thread for more details.

Will probably list it at $1300 OBO, shipped anywhere in the lower 48.
