Looks like a Camburg copy. But then again not many ways to make a UCA. I will be going with the JBA UCA. Cheaper and proven. The ball joint isn't pressed in, which makes it easy to change and easily available.

The JBA ball joints aren't easily available, you have to order them from JBA. So if it breaks, you're out of commission until they send you one. It only takes a couple of minutes to change a pressed in ball joint with the correct tools, and 99% of the time you can get the ball joint at any auto store same day

Yup, I have the B8 also. They work. I believe they are made by Dirt King.

With correct tools. Not many people have ball joint press tools, I don't. Also, a rusted in ball joint isn't a quick job. I know the pressed ones are easy to get since they off the shelf ball joint which is a positive. The JBA are just easy bolt design which does in fact take a couple of mins. And you are correct on having to order them, so it could mean your truck being down till you get them, or just keep a spare on on hand.

Not many people have ball joint tools but you could always rent one while you are at the parts house picking up your replacement ball joint.

That's a valid point. I own alot of tools. I've used my ball joint press for alot of other things too. It's a handy tool to own. I got mine from harbor freight and it's been fantastic. My 1/2in Milwaukee impact makes quick work of ball joints with it.

Luckily I have never had to use one, never kept a vehicle long enough, lol. I will say I have made my own pullers for other projects. I don’t like or care to have too much 1-2 time use tools in my box. It can add up quickly. I have a Milwaukee 1/2 impact at work, it’s a beast for sure.

Their arms, whomever makes them for them look solid! I’m sure it’s a Moog tundra joint pressed in.

To comment on the JBA joints, the arms come with one they make, but if I remember correctly, it’s based off of a GM 2500 joint so you could replace with one of those in a pinch.

The Dirt King's use Moog joints, so I would assume the B8's are the same.
