Please help! Can anyone help me identify this part? Their are two on the underbody just behind the drivers door attached to the frame with (it looks like) two bolts. No clue what the long bolt does. Any Idea how to safely remove and reinstall them?

They mount the cab to the frame. Why are you trying to remove them?

Not trying to be funny or mean but if you have to ask what that part is you probably shouldn't be working on your truck. I'm just saying. He is correct.

Damn I thought it was something like that. Probably not something I want to remove. They are obstructing my only approach to the rear most side bolt to my new rock sliders.

Which sliders are they? Post pics and someone will have a solution.

Please. This is like my fifth off-road build (my first Toyota). People who are afraid to ask when they have an issue are the people who shouldn't be working on their trucks.

Yes thanks. I am going to when I get pictures on another thread when I get them. White Knuckle Sliders, they are super beefy and really good quality, only this one drawback.

Lots of guys on here have the white knuckle sliders I believe. Hopefully one of them will remember.

    1 or 2... I lost count
I installed mine about 4 years ago now but I don't remember having any issue with the cab mount specifically. The hard bolt is on the drivers side tucked up behind the gas tank. I need some pictures to jog my memory if I ran into the same thing.
