What’s up guys figured I would show my mild build. Just have a stock pic for now and pics of the lift that just got dropped off. Will get it put in this weekend hopefully wheels show up. Kit looks pretty legit. Just went mild this time around on suspension and give Icon a try haha. Any way here the pics. Hopefully have update pics after the weekend.

It’s the stage 1 icon kit. Method 706wheels I think they called and 35x12.50r17 nitto ridge grapplers. I have it set at the 2.25 inch setting in the front stock height in the rear. The ride is nice has a sporty feel to it for a truck. Icon runs diggressive valving in their setups so it’s a good combo with the soft factory springs. Handles way better than stock. I’m happy with it for what it cost it’s a lot of bang for the buck. My old truck was setup really nice. So I have a pretty good comparison.

i was eyeing the icon stage 3 stuff, wasn't sure if it would be worth the extra money compared to this stage one, sounds like your ride is good!

The stage 3 isn’t that much more. Depends on how you plan to use the truck. That stage 3 kit will be a little easier to install yourself since you don’t need to swap the front springs over. The ride is good I like it a lot considering what I had in my other truck. Now this kit doesn’t hold a candle to the performance of my other suspension system. But for daily driver and looks it’s perfect setup and will perform well for mild off-roading. I would have preferred some 2.5 shocks for the rear I think those would be a better match for the front 2.5’s.

Nice truck. Love the color combo.

Did you grind out the lower control arm lower shock mount pocket for the icon shock clearnace?

Thanks! Yes had to grind out the lower control arm. Wasn’t bad at all. Here’s a pic that was before the final clean up and some spray paint

Thanks for the follow up. Nice to see stuff like this on real world installs. Yeah...It looks pretty simple to do.

Welcome. Yes not to bad of an install. Moving the springs over is the most time consuming part, but a fancy spring compressor will make it that much faster. I just ordered a spring compressor set off of Amazon and they worked just fine.

I ordered the same compressors that Westcott Designs used in their install videos.

Made quick work of it and pretty safe overall. I used them with my Cornfed 3/1 Install.

Been a while since I posted anything. Added some stuff lately figured I would update page lol. Wasn’t gonna add much to this truck but she is really growing on me so gonna end up putting better suspension and other mods after all. Here couple of recent add ons. Diamond back HD cover and a bed rug.
