Hey guys. First post. Hope I do this right.
I have a 2013 Tundra V6 with 87K. Recently I had a crank no start. Fuses and relays were all good. Thought it was fuel pump. Changed the pump but the issue remained. I was getting power to the Fuel pump control module but no power from the module to the pump. I can direct power the pump and it works, so I changed the control module. The truck fired right up and ran for 9 days. Then the crank no start came back. This time I took it to a local mechanic shop that I have gone to for years. They determined the Fuel pump control module failed and replaced it. 9 days later the truck stalled on the road and is back to crank no start.
I am not sure what to do now. I really don’t like throwing money at it so I would like to figure out if the computer is locking out the module or if something on the truck is frying these modules. Both new modules were genuine Toyota parts. Both lasted for 9 days, but nowhere near the same mileage.
    Any guidance is appreciated
    Thanks

maybe check the wiring from the control module to the pump....intermittent short drawing too many amps from module and burning it out?

    Is it flex fuel?

I've read about this happening before and they fixed it by replacing their ECU.

it is not flex fuel. I am waiting on new leads for my multi meter to arrive, then I plan on diving in. I tried to plug in the 2nd FPCM in and see if the computer would allow it to run but that did not help. I disconnected the battery in the hope that the ECM would "reset" and maybe that would clear the block. No luck either situation.
