Hey guys, I have a 2011 Tundra that randomly cut out on me while driving a few weeks ago. Just driving along and then the engine suddenly stalls out. The electrical stays on and I can immediately start the engine up again with no issue. But then it will randomly shut off again.
At first I assumed it was the fuel pump, so I replaced it. Didn't help. Cleaned mass air flow sensor. Nothing. Cleaned the throttle body. Still no luck. It shuts off when driving or if you leave it in park.
No codes are showing up. I did however time it, and it consistently shuts off 1:04 after ignition.
Anyone heard of this before? Thanks!

Maybe the battery... and have your alternator checked

I’d test the alternator and battery.

Yea, I assumed it was the fuel pump/filter so I already replaced it. No change

It starts right up after it stalls. Doesn't feel like a power issue. I can do it numerous times in a row and the power feels consistent.

Starter relay? Try bypassing it see if it solves your issue?? If it does replace it..

Disconnect battery for a good while (half hour). Then reconnect.

I'm in the anti theft category as well.

Did you ever figure this out? My truck has done this a couple times now. Happened 3 times Sunday and once today. No codes or anything. Sunday, I cleaned my MAF and made sure the battery cables were tight and not corroded. Happened again a half hour ago.

Are you on the same tank of gasoline from Sunday? Did you buy the gasoline from a station/shop you don't normally gas up at?

It is the same tank of gas as well as the same station I typically buy from. It's a Shell station.

Do you have an aftermarket security system?

No aftermarket security system. Stock airbox as well. I had checked the filter and it looks fine. I pulled the negative battery cable last night to reset the ECU and I think I'm going to clean the throttle body and put some fresh gas in it and see what happens. Super annoying. I'm hoping it's just bad gas but my gut tells me it isn't. Just annoying that I have no CEL to give me a starting point.
