Same. I did a really half assed job on the black Tundra yesterday morning. Once the products started steaming when they hit the paint I tapped out.

The sprinklers had left water spots all over it. Clay didn’t take them off so I got out the G9 and some Griots Boss correcting cream. It made quick work of the spots, but the rest is going to have to wait until it’s not a million degrees outside or I can get it someplace indoors to work it. Whole truck needs a correction in a bad way.

 

I’ll be coating the Tesla in the next week. Did wipe it down with some QD

Right there with you. The last three I’ve bought were deconned, clayed, washed, and sealed within a day or two of bringing them home.

Like others mentioned, too hot right now to do any of the vehicles. And down here I get discouraged... wife drives 2 of the 3 regularly to work, and she hits spots where people have sprinklers spraying into the road. So first drive to work and those are dirty again. Tundra sits out (and would probably benefit from more frequent protectant applications), but again, between dust, overnight humidity, seasonal tree sap/pollen, it looks like crap the next day too. *sigh*

 

Haven’t had to “wash” the FJ in 3 months. Wipe it down every few days. That UDP is killer.

 

I like the idea of foam and rinse for this application.

 

Washed up the golf cart. Tundra will have to wait until after the next weekend trip. Extra picture of my janky detail cart, she ain’t pretty but it works!

Edit: Beadmaker for my sealant of choice, 303 on the tires and P&S interior cleaner. Otherwise, pretty generic chemicals (Meguairs AP cleaner on the wheels/mats) and tools!

 

Conflicting modification in my eyes. I love the look. I like it during the summer when it's hot and sunny. However, I hate driving with tint at night. Long story long, I haven't decided. Maybe next year after I am done spending money on the truck (which has been endless the last 2-3 months prepping it for hunting season).

The Tundra will never get tinted. Tinted windows are miserable to look through while you're hunting/glassing. I'd actually like to find clear/untinted glass for the back windows if it is even possible.

Are you tinting your M3P? EDIT: Just saw the first picture you posted in this thread, look like you already did! What % did you go with?

 

Not all in a day but....the outside needs more of a body shop than detail so no pics of that, not worth uploading 1 photo at a time. Can we do more than 1 on here?
