So I purchased an IceCo cooler on Prime.day after a few guys here recommended the Iceco brand. I got the standard VL45. To start with, it shipped quick. I ordered it Tuesday and it arrived Saturday...a week earlier than the estimated delivery date. I plugged it in and it went from 79 down to 38 degrees in just under an hour. It is also extremely quiet. Thanks again for the recommendation. :hattip:

After years of cheap plug in cooler, than an Ice cooler (we will still use) we splurged for an Iceco VL45 with baskets and Insulated blanket.

It arrived today. I must say, it seems I impressively built.

I was originally going to get just the fridge on Amazon (Canada) as it was a limited deal of $75 off. We missed it and they offered the fridge with blanket and baskets at a higher price but with $150 off. All deals were shipped and sold via IceCo. I think Amazon does these deals for single units and once they are used, they remove them. As soon as I got mine for $150 off, the deal was gone.

Because we will mainly be using it camping and it'll be sitting outside under an awning or dining tent, I figured it won't hurt to have a little protection from unexpected rain etc and help when it's +30.

In the off season, it'll probably reside in our sunroom so I can have quick access to some Pepsi and Dr Pepper. :)

Looking back I should have bought an ice co rather than my over priced dometic, but you cannot put a price on never having to buy ice for camping ever again.
