Whoa me either.. I have an older log home which is already dryer than a desert and the AC constantly runs. Might give this a shot

Yes, it will be 14 GPM. MPG's would no longer be a good unit of measure having that much fun driving.

Yep. Mpgs are no longer relevant or a concern to him lol. You can't take gas, money, or toys with you when you leave the planet.

Busy night / morning knocking out maintenance on the truck before our trip to CO. Changed the t-case oil for the first time, did a spill and fill on the trans, replaced intake and cabin filters, and had the tires balanced and rotated. Also hit 73k as I parked just now. Ready for a fun week.

How did you do the trans fluid? Just replaced exactly what came out or did you do the check procedure?

This time I pulled and added 4 qts. I’ve done it both ways and in the past when I’ve verified using the up to temp check plug method my measure and replace has always been spot on.

I drain with the truck completely cold so a volume based replacement works in theory so long as you don’t have leaks. A clear drain pan with measurements is very helpful. This is what I use -
    Rubbermaid Commercial Products... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000R8JOUC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

because I’m ocd about my maintenance I pour the old fluid into the empty bottles to double verify I pulled and added equal amounts.

Yeah this is how I would do it as well. I did the procedure when I put in the tranny cooler and only a very small amount drained out so I pretty sure I am dead nuts now.

    Update with some better pics.

Got my replacements in. I love them and they pack a punch for a $20 light

Two front facing and two rear facing amber turns, just like it’s baby bro

edit: I grabbed a few extra lights for rear facing puddle / curtesy lights I’ll tie in with the puddles. I’ll mount them next to the license plate. Not as a reverse, just some rear facing light on a switch. I figure it will help for night time hitch or closing gates when it’s pitch black.

Organized the truck more to my liking and put a little tractor supply lantern and a small med kit attracted to the drivers headrest. Zipper is still easily accessible so unzip and it folds down. I am just happy it is out from under the passenger seat. Good temporary solution till I can figure out something better.
