I've seen others with this problem say it was a wheel speed sensor, you can pretty easily see if one is broken or frayed.

    Thanks!

So...reading through those threads people replaced the 4wd actuator...axles...wheel bearings...abs sensor...not really sure where to start.

I'm going to crawl under the truck after work today and look for obvious wires cracked, etc

I'll check the voltage and see what it's at.

Assuming I'll take the reading with the truck off?

My truck did that once while drive home from San Diego. I pulled over to the side of the road and shut the truck off for 5-10 minutes. Restarted and has never happened again. I have heard everything from battery, TSS sensor, ABS and/or just a quirk. :notsure:

Check your battery first. If original it probably done, they usually only last 3-4 years. Battery going bad will cause faults to different systems, as the systems are not getting enough power/volts to perform.

If that checks out ok or you replace it and still have the errors, then look at your ABS sensors and associated wiring.

Had the same issue and ended up being wheel speed sensor, took a scan tool to determine which one. The sensor had the smallest crack in it but enough to allow moisture into the copper core and corrode and lose the connection. Kind of crappy that Toyota wont let you put the vehicle in 4x4 even when in Park with that sensor failure as mine happened during winter.

Same issue here took to dealer they cleared it and came back the next day on. They couldn’t figure it out.

That is 70% charged....100% is 12.6. Have them check the battery at AutoZone, etc...

Agree with this. Need to have the battery load tested at a parts store.

I'm in Canada...don't have AutoZone and I'm not aware of anywhere that will test a battery.

I crawled under the truck and found the rear right wheel speed sensor was cracked off.

I replaced it...cleared the codes...and all the dash lights just keep coming back on.

I cleared the codes a few time...the scanner picked up: ABS, 4WD and Trailer brake codes

Did you do a battery disconnect for a little while after replacing the sensor?

I do not recommend just replacing stuff willy nilly but prefer to have some diagnostic testing indicating the issue. That's why I recommended you have the battery tested. If yours is more than 3 years old and you are getting voltage readings of less than 12.6v after a lengthy drive, it's probably not a bad idea to replace it but not sure that will fix your issue.

I have the negative off the battery right now...I'm going to leave it until morning and then take it for a drive and see if the codes come back.

Leveling kit, airbags on rear axle, led light bar with cattle pusher.
I just had that problem, and it turned out to be the passenger side wheel bearing going bad. Enough debris from the bearing caused the speed sensor to throw a code. I cleaned off the speed sensor and cleared the codes and it worked for about a week and did it again. Replaced the wheel bearing and have had no issues since. Its been about two months.

Left the truck until after 5pm...just put the negative terminal back on and took it for a quick drive.

All the same lights are back on the dash.

2015 truck, if your battery is original you should replace it, long past due. If not, still is probably due since batteries last about 4/5 years if lucky. Would mean it has been replaced once and it getting close or time to replace again, especially if you live in an area with hold or cold extremes.

Picked up a new battery today and had it on the charger all day. Just put it in the truck...no lights on first start...but once I drove a few km's they all came back on.

Took the truck to a small local garage yesterday.

They replaced the rear right wheel bearing. No more codes on the dash!
