I just ordered the RB 10 non liner version and I’m worried that they will scratch easily with sandy shoes etc. I feel like I should of ordered the bed coating ones instead. The only reason I didn’t is I’m 6’4 and don’t use the boards but my wife and kids do. I was worried that every time I got out of the truck I would hack my calf up cause it normally scrapes against the boards getting out. Does anyone have advice who have had both and what version do you like better. Am I crazy to think that the non lined ones will scratch easily in time. Thank you

No I think you are on target. The coated will be better protected and look better longer. But you can always touch up yours as needed with rattle can bedliner. I use it on my steps, usually do a spray every spring and it lasts about a year before it needs another touch up.
