After replacing the battery when I turn the ignition my alarm goes off. I don’t have an aftermarket alarm. The only alarm is the standard alarm that came with the truck new. There is the Toyota dealer added alarm blue blinking light thing that was supposed to be disconnected and unusable due to me not wanting to pay the extra fee. It’s blinking but I don’t know if that’s the issue or it’s even activated. I have the standard 2018 tundra key with the lock / unlock / red panic horn button thing.
Any idea what to do? It’s Sunday and dealers are closed.

edit. I’ve tried unlocking and locking the doors while alarm was going off. I even drove it around the block with the alarm going off and problem persists. After I shut off the truck, lock the doors and wait for a few alarm cycles the alarm stops until the next time I turn the ignition

Try unhooking the truck battery for 5 min. Also, try a different key

Solved. On the blinking blue alarm thing above the e brake there’s a small button. Hit it once alarm shut off then turned back on, started truck hit the button again and alarm went off and stayed off.

I just replace the battery on my 15. Ran into the same issue. Wish I would have seen this post earlier because that’s exactly what I did to make it stop. I actually disconnected my hornds to troubleshoot without all that noice. Was not fun.

Looks like I'm going to have to pay the dealership mechanics again. I tried the sequence of button pushing and starting the truck to no avail. It's interesting that the alarm only started going off after I reconnected the auxiliary ports after re-assembling the dash system.
