No problem with any of the above, except for Michael Jordan being “not the greatest athlete.” The man could jump out of the gym! He was an absolute freak! Could he play baseball? No….but he could run, jump and made himself into an elite basketball player in all areas of the game! The greatest bball player ever.

(Larry Bird, Tom Brady….was not/is not a great athlete ….MJ was an incredible athlete:confused:)

Jeremy McGrath, king of supercross. James Stewart for the way he changed the way people ride dirt bikes, period.

Disagree with the Bird comment. Dude could shoot lights out. He was so good he played one game left handed against the trail blazers. Different era but the dude could ball.

He had mad hoop skills. No doubt. I am a long-time Celtics fan. I am talking about natural athletic ability. The natural ability to run fast….jump high. Bird was slow and couldn’t jump.

The King made Supercross boring for me he was so friggin' dominant. Almost every race was for second place except for the '97 season. And then The Goat, Ricky Carmichael, arrived and made everyone change their game. No more partying or just riding for training. He made it serious business.

F1, I got to watch Senna in a few races before he died. The car was just an extension of his body. Unbelievable. Schumacher.... he brought the engineering into the cockpit. Racers could no longer just be drivers. He knew the car inside and out.

Offroad racing, watching Luke McMillin move up from being a 16 year old kid in a 1/2 1600 car to being the fastest guy in a 1100+hp trophy truck right now and just decimating some of the big names that have been around for years. He is just scary fast and in his prime right now. It's awesome.

Ivan Stewart could be an honorable mention for me. He was awesome in the stadiums, Micky Thompson races. Some great talent came through that series, McGrath ( as mentioned ) Jimmy Johnson, Casey Mears, Rick Johnson and others
