I will be running these trails some time (Mon - Thurs) the week of 7/25 if anyone wants to join. Just me for now but I’ll have my sons, brother in law, and father in law with me. Can’t wait to be back in the San Juan Mountains!

Looks like I'm going to try and tackle these trails on 7/27 - Likely take Ophir Pass from Rico over to the 550 around 7:30-8:30am and start at Mineral Creek making a clockwise loop back to the 550 on Corkscrew Gulch.

Might hit Clear Lake on the way back too if we have time and aren't spent.

unfortunately, I must work, but it should be a good time to do those trails. Watch out for the afternoon thunderstorms.

Snuck in Kennebec Pass yesterday morning. Trail seems underrated - easy but beautiful. I love SW CO.

    Trail report -
Mineral creek is a challenge on 33-34” tires. Lots of narrow off-camber sections and turns make you be very careful with tire placement. Probably the toughest trail I’ve done in the Tundra but certainly doable with a little extra clearance, skid protection and patience.

Animas Forks, California Gulch, and Corkscrew Gulch could all probably be done in a stock 4x4.

Clear Lake, Eureka Creek, and the Alpine loop are on the list for next year.
