Sugar getting a lot of attention from some visitors this weekend.

 

This is like some superhero poster!!

 

There is a dog named Maverick at my local dog park that looks JUST LIKE Morgan. Super sweet dog and tons of energy.

 

I got her at 6 weeks, I was told she was a terrier mix, no more than 30 lbs.

She had short hair as a puppy too. well, months go by, she's pushing 50lbs and out came this long wiry hair. We started to think she was a mini irish wolfhound. She was smart and had a lot of energy and was the sweetest dog (she did get a little weird around young kids) but was still sweet. I walked her about 5-6 days a week mile after mile she would just keep going, and she loved to swim. Miss that pup damn near everyday.

 

He is spoiled rotten. The cattle dog spaniel mix definitely got him into trouble as a pup.

 

Everyone in that truck looks happy!!!!!

 

My oldest (when he wasn't so old) doing a long down (about 15 min) w/me out of sight. He's still locked onto the spot where he last saw me about 10 minutes into the exercise! It is about 0300-0400 at a park near our home in Vegas a few years ago.

 

He's like a "no trespassing" sign, only more effective

Does anyone else build things with their doggos in mind?
The back gate, I specifically left open spots at the bottom for smaller wildlife, but also so mine could see any lurkers in the alley; this morning it paid off!I originally build this gate for dozer, measured him up and everything, he loved poking his head out and looking at me working on the trucks.
Django is liking it to, but he’s hopefully gotten big enough to not fit all the way thru…….

Dog got skunked this morning in the backyard

ran to the store to get peroxide (used with baking soda and dish soap) gave her two baths and seems to have helped. Back yard will be off limits for a few weeks though, it's awful back there, house has a pungent smell also.

 

Reminds me of when my cattle dog found a dead raccoon off trail and decided to "shalac" himself with it. Good times.

 

Growing up we had a mini dachshund who liked to roll in dead things, cow/horse manure, etc. We had to keep him inside for a bit after his groomings or he would take off into the fields to find something to roll in
