I posted this info in a different thread about auto start stop but I figured I'd make a new thread on the subject with the goal of finding a member that was local to the company and willing to donate their time. Here is the company that makes a module to defeat auto stat stop. I have one in my f150 and it works as advertised.

    https://www.autostopeliminator.com/

Here is a copy of the reply they sent me when I inquired about a version for the 2022 tundra.

We do not yet have a device for that vehicle. New products depend on the vehicles people bring us.

We could probably work with you to make a device if you want to bring the vehicle to Fairmont, WV for a day. We'd do it for free and pay you $300 for your time because we could then offer the device for sale to others. We don't need to drive your vehicle and you could stay with your vehicle the entire time. It usually takes about 8 hours to put together a prototype and test it. Let me know if you're interested.

Or, some vehicles have come to us because someone posted on forums/Facebook/social media and found someone with the same vehicle closer to us and they brought the vehicle to us. Just throwing that out in case you participate in the forums and can help us and help yourself get the device sooner by getting someone to bring us a vehicle. Otherwise, I'll let you know if/when a device is made available.

Is it actually donating their time if they are getting a free device and also paid?

I'm close enough but it might be a few weeks before I get my truck and have a full day. Will keep it in mind!

I had start stop disabled on my land rover and don't think I can go back lol.

about a 3.5 hour drive, but not sure when I'd have the free time to make it... Honey doo lists and a kid with non-stop plans makes it difficult to find me time haha...

Sorry, but too use my truck for a Guinea pig? It’d cost a whole lot more than that lol.

Do you think you’ll still be able to go in the next few weeks?

Do you know if the product is tied to an actual business that has a website? I’m a little weary of buying a bundle of wires from “funman1steve” , even if his feedback is great.

It looks like you have to wire tap a fuse, is that correct? The product that I linked above only required you to plug the existing harness plug into the new one and that’s it.

I took pictures but install is simple enough. Remove OEM plug from As/s switch. Plug in circuit boards plug. plug OEM plug into circuit board. Connect circuit board power lead to fuse box. Now As/s remembers last setting. funman1steve sold 5,700 units. I would call that a business. http://iocanetech.com/

Did you post the pictures anywhere, or does the harness come with pictured instructions? Electrical work makes me very nervous

    1. Remove passenger under dash cover to expose fuse box by putting finger in cover openings and pressing tabs towards front of vehicle. Remove mood light, if equipped.

    2. Repeat steps for drivers side under dash, by first removing hex / phillips screw.
    3. Remove switch panel be reaching, first behind right side and pulling. Then gently pry around edges.
    4. Expose switches
    [IMG]
    5. Use small flat blade screw driver bit to press As/s switch connector locking tab and remove connector.

    6. Plug the OEM connector you removed into the circuit board. I used a tyrap around connector and circuit board to prevent connector from possibly coming loose in the future. Then clip off excess tyrap.
    7. Plug in the connector coming from the circuit board into the As/s switch. And tyrap the circuit board to the wire bundle to secure it.
    8. I used a fiberglass rod to to reach around the back of the dash to fish the power wire towards the fuse box.
    9. I removed a 10 amp fuse, labeled Spare Igr, from the fuse box and installed it in the fuse tap.
    10. Plug fuse tap into the fuse box.
    11. Save the fuse box cover in your glove box as it won't fit back on. Tyrap the power wire to your harness behind the dash so it doesn't chafe in the future.
    12. Reassemble the panels you removed and enjoy.

Thanks for this. Mine just got delivered and they don't really have instructions for us yet. So this is really appreciated.
