Neighbor is 80 and deathly afraid of snakes. Came running over this morning screaming bloody murder that a snake ran under his refrigerator in the garage. Said “it must be four feet and was looking very aggressive!!!”

i love snakes and most wildlife, and have caught many in our yard / shed. I went over and took the cardboard cover off of the refrigerator knowing that it likely was using that area near the coils as a heat source. It was coiled up and scared so I grabbed it, put it in a bucket and relocated it to a woodpile behind our house. Best I can tell it was an eastern milksnake. Beautiful if you ask me.
