I have a 14 crewmax sr5. I would like to put 35x12.5x22 or 35x12.5x20 on my beast. I recently shattered a rim and 2 tires. I am trying not to cut or modify anything important. I am being told a 4-6 inch lift is the way to go. 1st. Does any of you have a crewmax with 35s on 22s? My biggest confusion is the offset I dont want the rims to hang out of the side of the truck. Maybe a inch or less. Thank you look forward to being in this group.

Any ideas on lift kits that dont break the bank would help as well.

    Welcome to the forum!
    Most run 35's on either a 17 or 18" wheel with a 3-4" lift.

I have a 15 with TRD Package and put trd 17" rock warrior rims on 315/70/17 (34.6x12) and dont rub anywhere. I had to slightly bend the skid plate (can't even tell). No need for lift. That is the absolute largest you can go on the 2.5" the Billstein shocks.
4wheel parts is running a sale on lifts if you choose to go that route.

Sean what type of offset do you think? to keep the rims and tires from looking trashy and hanging out to far? In your opinion 6 inch lift with 35s on 22s? i am trying to find other tundras with 35s on 22s if you see any let me know.

Since you mentioned not cutting anything important, just remember that most 6 inch lifts require cutting of your frame. If you are willing to cut your frame (cross member), then look at specific lift. They usually specify the backspacing for the lift.

I think most functional 'lift' is around 3 inches with 35 inch tires. If you get wheels with around 35 mm offset, you should be able to mount 35 inch tires with minimal to no mods.

i would go minimum 6" lift. i did a spindle lift myself and installed myself. i still want to go a little taller. waiting to see what happens when i change tires. i have 20 with 33 tires. plenty of space. before i did 6" lift i could fit those in there. i did all mine under 1k.

the spindle lift will stick out the wheels 1" so you would need spacers in the back to match. i dont care for spacers but i had to do it. but it does look nice with a little poking out.

I have 15 CM I installed the ready lift 4" front and 2" rear with new control arms I have 18x9 XD rimes with 325/65-18 GY Duratrac tires I had to shim out the front bumper 1/2 " and still trim the front plastic wheel liner. Also I had a very hard time getting the rear diff angle dialed in to get rid of the vibration caused from the lift as the angled rear blocks was not enough. I love the truck! Well worth the extra work required. FYI I own a repair shop for the last 21 years but you could easily install the lift at home.

6" lift sitting on 20x10x-24 wrapped with 35 MTs
Seems every truck is just a bit different with a lift. I have a 6" on my truck and running 35's with 20" wheels -24 offset. No frame or body mount rub, it does rub the plastic behind the front bumper. Replacing bumpers in the fall.

Do some research and decide how you want your truck to look and perform.
