New Splice Connector?

    Anyone have first hand experience with these? I'm thinking it would be a nice alternative to solder sleeves.

    Great for ease of use, but bulky. I'll stick to solder sleeves and/ or wire nuts.

    Of course. I wouldn't use the splices the OP mentions in my truck either even if I could.

    Those look like wagos, i wouldnt use them on a vehicle. Just like a wirenut, will fail from vibration. I wouldnt really use them in a house either except for a few rare circumstances.
