I've had the pleasure to sit in one, not on a drive though. A buddy of mine has a cayman, does that count lol. His car is nimble and quick(ish) which makes the idea of owning a 997 even more exciting.

If I had another garage space (or sell my truck) the other vehicle I would strongly consider is the Porsche Macan S or GTS. Pretty practical and crazy fun to drive.

here I am driving mine (not retired though).
A golf cart, and either my current tundra or a newer one in 10-15 years.

I fish sometimes with a buddy that has his heeler ride on the bow and runs along the bank. My dog would probably get eaten by something.

    Yes please.

Until about 10 years ago I never knew how expensive boating is. Then I found out the fuel economy….Tundra owners should not complain.

My dad's boat is not bad when we're skiing but it's 16' fibreglass with a 140 HP outboard. Boat and motor together probably weigh about 1200 lbs. Only really burn a lot of gas when my brothers are tubing. That's a lot of drag for that boat.

Pulling the plug Thanksgiving of 2033. May have to formally stick around until Spring of 2034, but will basically just go on indefinite leave that Thanksgiving.

Retirement dream rig is a Lindell 42 to keep exploring and fishing Prince William Sound.

    https://www.lindellyachts.com/lindell-42

Am sure EV’s will blow ICE rigs even more out of the water in another decade. So will probably just keep my 2020 Jeep SRT around when I feel like making loud noises. It gets less than 5K miles a year, so should easily have life left in her.

Then have a Rivian R1T or Tesla CyberTruck for truck things / daily driving.

If I need to do something requiring bigger than a small truck bed / HD ……. I’m retired and paying someone to deal with it.
