I want to add D-rings to the bed. Attach them using the bolts that hold the bed in place.

I took one of the bolts out and I learned 2 things, the first one is that the the washer is locked in the bolt by some threaded pattern, and the second thing is that I don't think those bolts are made of steel, it looked more like some aluminium alloy.
That brings the question, Would that be a good attaching point?

Have you done something like this? If so, Where did you purchased the D-rings?

Pretty sure they’re galvanized steel. You’ll have to look up the method for knocking that washer off (basically need a sledge and a big socket). You’ll want the d ring to be between the washer and the head of the bolt. I just got some basic D-Rings off Amazon and enlarged the hole to fit the bed bolts. I’d recommend searching out ones with a large enough they hole so you don’t have to enlarge it. Haven’t done this on the tundra yet but I did it on my Tacoma.
This style is pretty basic 1000lb d ring you’re gonna get anywhere for This price. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q2J2Q6D?_encoding=UTF8

Great, thanks for letting me know.
I got those exact D-rings from Amazon but I had doubts about enlarging the hole. That and not being sure about the bolt's material made me come here for advice.
I think this clears up the questions and I'm good to go.

    I got these: https://www.amazon.com/Diameter-Car...pd_rd_i=B01CGXSNC0&ref_=pd_bap_d_rp_41_i&th=1

Get a grinder with a cutoff wheel and notch the washer that's on the bolt. Or get some BullDog tinsnips and cut some of the washed. Either way you want to leave the washer on. You have to make the hole on the D-Ring bigger, so either a unibit/step drill or just the right size drill bit.

They are nice to have once they're in there. Just a PITA that you have to do all the work to get them in.

i would use them to hold down my Dirt bike while off-roading the truck so I trusted them. I wouldn’t strap crazy loads to them though. When I do it for the tundra, I’m gonna find some slightly more robust rings with a thru hole I don’t have to enlarge bc that was a pita to do.

That is exactly what I need them for, strap the rear wheel of a bike.
I think that the ones you link from Amazon are rated for 1500 pounds, I would trust them with half, but I really would be more concerned about the bolt snapping under load
